Voor het controleren en repareren van een mailbox mag deze niet in gebruik zijn. Het stoppen van de mailbox gaat als volgt:
Start de exchange system manager
Navigeer naar: [Administrative Groups], [First Administrative Group], [Servers], [ Uw mailserver], [First Storage Group]

* Als [Administrative groups] niet zichtbaar is: Klik rechts op [... Organization (Exchange)], kies vervolgens voor properties (eigenschappen) en zet de vinkjes aan voor [Display routing groups] en [Display administrative groups].

Klik met de rechter-muis-knop op de mailbox die u wilt controleren en kies [Dismount Store]
